Project Type: Logo Design
Overview: Bude Curb College is an educational or training institution focused on skateboarding or urban sports. The project aimed to create a logo that reflects the school’s dynamic and youthful energy.
Design Requirements
I need a logo that captures the energy of a skate-school for kids and beginners, and community-driven spirit of skateboarding, while not being too ‘child-like’.
Keywords: structured, dynamic, youthful.
Design Solution
The logotype was informed by the wheels of a skateboard as well as the geometric nature of the quarter-pipes, with an added ‘pop’ to signify the sound of the tail of a deck hitting the ground. The project delivered a logo that effectively represented Bude Curb College’s vibrant identity, suitable for engaging its youthful audience.
