Ride It Cycles
Project Type: Logo Design Evolution & Business Card Design
Overview: Ride it Cycles is a cycling-related business offering bikes and services, driven by a passion for cycling culture. The project aimed to update their logo and create supporting visuals that capture the brand’s dynamic, active identity for use on bikes, merchandise, and stickers.
Design Requirements
“We want a bold, energetic logo that captures the dynamism of cycling while keeping our existing typeface to stay true to the brand. It needs to work on bikes, gear, and our website."
Keywords: bold, dynamic, active
Design Solution
The updated logo used the chain ring, or sprocket of a bike, I made the addition of a mark that works to not only identify the logo within the cycling sector, but also creates a visual focus. In the same way that 'X' marks the spot, this element provides direction.
